Glenn Crumpler

Glenn Crumpler is the founder and president of Cattle for Christ International Inc. and lives in Enterprise, AL. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, the former Lisa Donaldson, also from Enterprise for over 28 years and together they have three grown children and two grandsons due in May and August of this year. Glenn is a retired United States Army Officer, is a 1977 graduate of Enterprise High School, earned an Associate of Science degree from Enterprise State Jr. College (now Enterprise/Ozark Community College), a Bachelors of Arts degree in Christian Education from Florida Baptist Theological College (now Baptist College of Florida), in Graceville, FL, and a Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY.

He has been an ordained deacon in the Southern Baptist Church and served for five years as an Pastoral Assistant and Director of Education in the United Methodist Church. Glenn and Lisa are currently members of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church just south of Enterprise, AL.

Since 1991, Glenn has been on several foreign mission trips around the world. These experiences nurtured the calling on his life to preach the Gospel, to evangelize the un-reached, and to raise money to take the Gospel and the love of Christ around the world, specifically in those areas of the world where there are few or no missionaries and where severe poverty is prevalent. Through these mission trips and other experiences, the Lord has broken his heart for the lost, the poor and the oppressed in the world, especially children.

For as long as he can remember, Glenn has always had a love for cattle. He grew up buying cattle at weekly livestock auctions for a small local meat processor in Enterprise, AL. He began his own cattle business by raising and selling about 150 bottle calves per year. After a couple of years of raising bottle calves, he started purchasing a few good commercial cows from neighboring farmers. After about three years, his herd won the the honor of being awarded the #2 small herd of commercial cows in the State of Alabama. In 1993 Glenn sold his commercial herd and purchased 10 bred registered Angus cows, two bred registered Angus heifers, and two weaned registered Angus heifers from Ivey Angus Farms in Webb, AL. Glenn's Angus farm was called One Way Angus (based on John 14:6) and was located in Enterprise, AL. These cows and their progeny went on to win several honors and produced one of the first bulls to ever go to a major stud from the Southeast. In 1997, just before Glenn and Lisa moved to KY to attend seminary , he sold the One Way herd to his long time friend Ray Boyd and the Rev. Mack Amos.

In March 2001, during Glenn's third year of seminary while he was completing his Master's of Divinity degree and trying to discern and prepare for God's calling on his life, the Holy Spirit gave him the idea and name of the ministry 'Cattle for Christ International' and the strict financial accountability standards that the ministry would adhere to. At least 90% of every dollar designated for missions will go directly to the work, meaning that no more than 10% of these funds can be used for the administration/ministry expenses of Cattle for Christ. Also, Cattle for Christ prepares a detailed financial report that is available to all donors and to the public detailing the use of all missions funds and missions assets received on an annual basis.

Deep in his spirit, Glenn clearly understood the purpose of this ministry to be twofold: First, to unite Cattlemen and others to raise funds to take the Gospel and love of Christ Jesus to the world (especially to the un-reached peoples). Cattle for Christ enables world missions and evangelism that are strategic, accountable, effective and efficient. The second purpose of Cattle for Christ is to call all Christians (The Church--those who already profess faith in Christ) back to His Lordship, where He reigns, where His Word is authoritative, where His Spirit is our empowerment and guide, and where doing His will is our purpose for living (2Cor5:15).

Glenn understands that if Cattlemen come together and use whatever God has blessed them with to make the love and the Good News of Jesus Christ known to the world, if we all just give whatever we have to give whether it be money, services, cattle, embryos, equipment, feedstuffs, time, talents, influence, etc., together we can raise the needed funds and other resources to take the Gospel and love of Christ Jesus to the entire world through the ministries of Cattle for Christ International.

Please contact Glenn today to see how you too can partner with Cattle for Christ International to minister to men, women and children all around the world who so desperately need to know that there is a God who loves them, who has a plan for their lives, who can give them hope, and who has already paid the price for the forgiveness of their sin through the shedding of His own blood. These same people also need to know that there are other people around the world who love them--who love them enough to help deliver them from both their physical and spiritual poverty and oppression. You can be one of those who care enough to make a difference. By working together with these priorities, with this level of accountability, we can greatly improve the daily lives and the eternal destiny of people all around the world through Cattle for Christ.

Shane and Leesa ColeyShane Coley

Shane and Leesa Coley, married for over 20 years, have two children, Anna and Benjamin who are presently in college in Texas.

Leesa, among other duties in the church, has been the accompanist at First Baptist Statham for over twenty years.

Born in 1965, Shane was raised in the cattle business in Georgia. Shane has been self employed since 1991 and has always been involved with or owned businesses dealing with cattle, equipment or computers (which primarily deal with cattle or equipment.)

Shane is a deacon in the Southern Baptist church he has attended since 1983. He has been an active member of the Gideons International since 1996, being privileged to speak in many Georgia churches over the years. He has also been a board member for Come Alive Ministries, the local crisis pregnancy center in Winder, Georgia, for about three years.

In his church, Shane conducted children's church for about six years and taught youth Sunday school classes for about ten years.

Shane has been trained to conduct PLACE workshops. PLACE is a tremendous, Biblically sound, Christ centered service ministry developed and administered by Place Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia. PLACE is comprised of five elements as follows: Personality Discovery, Learning Spiritual Gifts, Abilities Awareness, Connecting Passion with Ministry and Experiences of Life. A solid supporting tool is the book called Understanding How Others Misunderstand You.

Currently Shane is working to advance The American Steward Initiative, a project and call that has been the central focus of his life for over a decade.

Shane's passion for seeing people come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ drives all that he does. He brings this same passion for God's Truth and God’s Love to the Cattle For Christ Ministry. Shane believes we should view our faith in this context, according to the words of Jesus in John 17, "Unity, as defined in scripture, should be the goal and measure of our faith."

Larry CochranRev. Larry Cochran

Larry began his evangelistic and missionary ministry during his years as pastor and director of a rural Kentucky parish of 18 churches. For more than 25 years he has preached revivals, camp meetings and missionary services throughout the United States. His passion for evangelism has been fueled by a vision God gave him in Managua, Nicaragua following the devastating earthquake there in 1972. While driving back to the U.S. from Panama, Larry spent a night in Managua. The desperate plight of the people there gave him a desire to minister God's love and peace to people everywhere.

Larry has served on the Board of Directors of Cattle for Christ International since it was founded in June 2001. His years of experience as a local pastor and his 22 years of missionary experience and leading mission trips have made Larry an invaluable asset, facilitator and advisor to the Cattle for Christ ministry. His leadership and passion for missions and evangelism, especially among the un-reached peoples, has been a driving force to keep us focused and energized.

He frequently leads servant teams to Latin America, assisting with leadership development, church planting, evangelism and children's ministries. Larry's fluency in Spanish greatly enhances his ability to establish relationships and lead the ministries we fund in Spanish speaking countries.

For the last 22 years, Larry has been on staff with GO InterNational, a Cattle for Christ ministry partner located in Wilmore, KY. From 1986 until May 2007 he served as President of GO. He and his wife Jenny live in Wilmore, KY. The Cochrans have three children and three grandchildren.

Larry continues his relationship with the United Methodist Church as an Elder of the Kentucky Annual Conference. He has a special appointment from his Bishop to serve at GO InterNational.

Recently Larry has been concentrating on Prayer and Community Reaching in his ministry in local churches. If you would like more information about the specific ministries that Cattle for Christ is funding in Spanish speaking countries, you can contact Larry or Glenn using the "Contact Us" tab.
